The dimmable 5.5W Candle LED Bulb E14 Frost replaces a traditional 60W incandescent, wrapping 806 lumens of 2700K warm white light in a softly diffused glass envelope that smooths the output into a comfortable, glare-free glow. Ultra-high colour accuracy keeps everything in the room looking warm, true, and flattering, with skin tones that appear natural and welcoming. Backed by a 3-year warranty.

The Frosted Effect

The frosted finish diffuses the LED filament array across the surface of the bulb, eliminating the bright striping and pinpoint intensity of a clear glass candle. At 60W-equivalent output, the frosted version still delivers enough light to work as the primary source in a room, but it does it quietly, without directing the eye toward the bulb or casting the kind of sharp shadows that a clear glass equivalent can create at close range. In a chandelier or candelabra, the frosted finish keeps every socket looking consistent and settled, making the fitting feel composed rather than scattered. Inside fabric and paper lampshades, frosted glass prevents the filament from casting visible shadow patterns through the shade material. Which base size do I need, and is E12 suitable for US fittings?

We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.

What is the difference between Clear, Frosted, and Porcelain glass finishes?

Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.

How do I choose the right colour temperature (2200K to 4000K)?

Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.

Are these LED candle bulbs compatible with my dimmer switch?

Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.

Do these bulbs produce "True Colour" light?

Fantastic product and rare find! Beautiful warm light at 2700k not 3000k(not exactly warm) but most importantly it has 820 lumens not the typical 500 lumen max , it is exactly what I needed for my moody room. So bright but still warm when needed, dimmable as well.

Colour is good (no problems with colours appearing different in daylight). Unfortunately there is a bit of flickering after using it for a while.
