Description
The ultimate statement in scale and warmth. Turn your void into a floating golden sculpture.
The Ennead | Grand Designer Edition is the most dramatic warm-light configuration in our collection. We have paired the architectural versatility of the Ennead system with nine of our massive 180mm Designer Amber Globes. Standing nearly 30cm tall each, these bulbs are not merely light sources—they are giant glass glowing objects that command attention.
A Golden Cloud of Light
When clustered together, the nine amber globes create a rich, sunset-toned atmosphere. The 5-meter cables allow you to stagger the drops through a double-height void, filling the empty air with a "rain" of warm, golden light that creates an immediate sense of luxury and intimacy.
Why Choose The Grand Designer Edition?
- Unrivalled Scale: At 180mm wide, these globes are nearly double the size of standard bulbs. They provide the visual weight needed to anchor massive rooms, stairwells, and grand entrances.
- Deep Mood Lighting: The amber-tinted glass and visible filaments produce a cozy 2200K warmth. It softens the hard edges of modern architecture, making the room feel "inhabited" and welcoming.
- Spider or Cluster: Use the 9 included swag hooks to drape the cables outwards for a room-filling "Spider" chandelier, or hang them vertically for a tight "Cluster" in a void.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How bright are Dulora bulbs?
LED brightness is measured in lumens, not watts. Here's a quick conversion guide:
- 2-3W LED ≈ 25W incandescent (200-300 lumens)
- 4-5W LED ≈ 40W incandescent (400-500 lumens)
- 6-8W LED ≈ 60W incandescent (650-800 lumens)
- 7.5-10W LED ≈ 75-100W incandescent (900-1200 lumens)
- 11-12W LED ≈ 100-125W incandescent (1300-1500 lumens)
All Dulora product pages list wattage and lumen output so you can choose the perfect brightness for your needs.
What is the lifespan of Dulora bulbs?
Dulora bulbs are designed for over 25,000 hours of use. If you use your light for an average of 3 hours per day, your LED bulb could last over 22 years. This exceptional longevity significantly reduces the frequency of replacements compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, which typically last only 1,000-2,000 hours. Note that all LED bulbs' light output gradually decreases over time, a phenomenon known as lumen depreciation.
Are Dulora bulbs dimmable?
Yes, most Dulora bulbs are dimmable, allowing you to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Look for the "dimmable" specification on the product page. For optimal performance, we recommend using LED-compatible dimmers. Some older dimmer switches may cause flickering or buzzing with LED bulbs. If you experience any issues, please contact our customer support team for assistance.
What is colour temperature and which should I choose?
Colour temperature refers to the warmth or coolness of light, measured in Kelvins (K):
- Ultra & Extra Warm (2000K-2200K): This colour range is warm and closer to a room lit by candles. It’s a very calm type of light, but it may make tasks like reading harder.
- This calming light gives off a warm glow, similar to candlelight. However, because it is such a soft light, it may not be suitable for activities that require focus, such as reading.
- Warm White (2700K-3000K): This colour creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas.
- Natural White (3500K-4000K): Provides a balanced, neutral light perfect for kitchens, offices, and workspaces.
- Cool White (5000K-6500K): This colour delivers a crisp, energising light similar to daylight. It is best for task lighting, garages, and areas requiring detailed visibility.
Choose based on the mood you want to create and the purpose of the space.
