The dimmable 4W Flame Tip Candle LED Bulb E14 Clear replaces a traditional 40W incandescent, delivering 470 lumens of warm 2700K light through a clear glass envelope that narrows to a fine, spiralled flame tip, echoing the visual language of a real candle. Ultra-high colour accuracy ensures the light renders colours and textures naturally, with skin tones that look warm and true. Backed by a 3-year warranty.
The Flame Tip Shape
The pointed, twisted tip sets this candle apart from the standard rounded variety. Rather than ending in a smooth dome, the flame tip draws to a fine point with a subtle spiral that captures the sense of movement and flicker associated with real candlelight. Fitted into a chandelier or candelabra, the tapered silhouettes of several flame tips together build a distinctly candlelit quality that is more dramatic and more historically referenced than a conventional candle shape. The transparent glass envelope reveals the LED filament array in full, adding a warm, golden sparkle through the clear glass that complements the pointed form. When switched off, the pointed tips and visible filaments give multi-arm fittings a gallery-like quality where every bulb reads as an intentional design choice. Pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer for smooth, flicker-free control from full brightness down to the softest background glow.

The 4W E14 Flame Tip Clear is the right choice for formal and heritage decorative fittings where every element of the fitting is part of the design. In the home, it suits crystal and brass chandeliers, period-styles candelabras, formal dining room and entrance hall fixtures, and statement sconces where a more theatrical candle shape elevates the fitting above the ordinary. In hospitality and commercial settings, it is a natural choice for heritage hotel dining room chandeliers, fine dining restaurant feature lighting, cocktail lounge chandeliers, and event venues where an atmospheric, candlelit aesthetic is central to the experience. The E14 small Edison screw base fits standard candelabra and small decorative fittings.
We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.
Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.
Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.
Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.
Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.

Buying the lightbulbs has been a great experience all through. LiquidLEDs helped ensure that I chose the right lightbulbs based on the specifications of my lamp, and then delivered them very quickly. The lightbulbs are excellent quality and arrived very carefully packaged, all in perfect condition. The light colour is a warm golden glow (not a cool white) so quite candle-like. It's more golden than this photo shows.
