Linear by Design

The tubular form brings a clean, architectural quality to spaces that demand something beyond the ordinary globe. Elongated, precise, and visually distinctive, it works as a statement piece in bare filament pendants, bathroom mirror bars, and any fitting where the bulb itself is part of the composition.

Where It Belongs

Run three tubular bulbs above a bathroom mirror and the room shifts from functional to considered in a single decision. Line them above a kitchen benchtop or hang a single long tube in a narrow corridor and the effect is the same: clean, architectural, deliberate. Interior designers and hospitality fit-out teams specify the tubular form because it brings a graphic quality to a space that rounder bulbs cannot. It is lighting that communicates that someone thought carefully about every detail.

Every Purchase Restores Sight

Dulora is a proud supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation. Every order helps fund cataract surgery and eye care programs across Australia. A simple bulb purchase. A life-changing outcome for someone who has never been able to see clearly.

See the Difference CRI Makes

Standard CRI 80+

Dull, washed-out light

Reds lose their warmth. Skin looks pallid. Artwork loses depth. The room feels lifeless regardless of how many bulbs you use.

Dulora CRI 90+

Noticeably better light

Colours come back to life. Reds stay warm, skin tones look natural, and surfaces take on the depth and texture they were always meant to have. A significant step above what most homes and venues settle for.

Description

A coiled filament running the full length of a medium amber glass tube, throwing 250 lumens of 2000K ultra warm light through an E27 fitting with a visual rhythm all of its own. The dimmable 4W Medium Tube Spiral LED Bulb replaces a traditional 25W incandescent with ultra-high colour accuracy and the kind of warm amber glow that suits a run of matching fittings as naturally as it suits a single feature one. Backed by a 3-year warranty.

The Amber Effect

The coiled filament traces a clean, unbroken path along the tube's length, lit to a warm amber gold through the tinted glass. The amber deepens the colour temperature beyond 2000K, pushing the light toward a candlelit warmth, and the coil's continuous spiral creates a visual pattern that's distinct from the single-line filament of the vintage version. Switched off, the spiral remains clearly visible through the glass: a deliberate, intricate centrepiece in any open fitting. It dims smoothly on a trailing-edge dimmer, staying evenly lit along the coil's full length even at the lowest settings.

Where It Belongs

Multi-bulb pendant clusters, chandelier arms, and café-styles runs of matching fittings where the spiral coil creates a consistent visual across several identical bulbs. Restaurant ambient lighting schemes, boutique hotel corridors, and bar-styles pendant runs wanting visual uniformity across multiple fittings are natural hospitality settings. At home, dining rooms and living rooms running two or three matching pendants above a table or kitchen island benefit from the consistent spiral pattern that a single-line filament wouldn't replicate as cleanly. The E27 fits the standard Edison screw socket used in most pendant and lamp fittings.

Specifications

  • Bulb Base Type

The end of the lamp that fits into the socket.

    E27 Edison Screw
  • Bulb Shape

The description of the general appearance of a lamp/bulb consists of a letter(s) followed by a number. The letter indicates the shape of the bulb, and the number relates to the diameter of the bulb in millimetres. For example, a standard household bulb is the A60. The bulb is "A" shape, and the diameter would be 60 millimetres.

    T30
  • Input Voltage

This voltage specification denotes the voltage level required for the LED bulb to operate correctly.

    220-240 Volt
  • Wattage

A rating, expressed in watts, indicates the rate at which a lamp consumes energy. Also known as wattage value.

    4W
  • Brightness

A lumen measures the amount of visible light emitted by a source per unit of time. It indicates the brightness or illumination power of lamps and lighting systems.

    250 lumens
  • Colour Temperature

An expression of the hue of the light emitted, measured in degrees Kelvin. Usually expressed by a four-digit number followed by (K), such as 2700K. High temperatures indicate white, "cooler" colours, while lower temperatures indicate yellower, "warmer" colours. Some typical Kelvin temperatures are 2700K (warm white) and 4000K (natural white).

    2000 Kelvin
  • CRI

The Colour Rendering Index is an international system that rates a lamp's ability to render objects colours. The higher the CRI (based upon a 0-100 scale), the richer and more accurately the colours appear. CRI differences among lamps are not usually visible unless the difference is more than 3-5 points.

  • Dimmable

Indicated whether a product can be dimmed in conjunction with a suitable dimmer control.

Yes, with most incandescent and LED dimmers.
  • Eye Comfort

Eye comfort measures how stable and consistent a bulb's light output is. Even when invisible to the naked eye, flickering light can cause headaches, eye strain, and fatigue, particularly during extended periods of reading, working, or relaxing at home. Dulora's dimmable globes are independently tested by TÜV Rheinland and meet internationally recognised low-flicker standards at full brightness. For the best experience, pair with a quality LED dimmer, as flicker performance can vary depending on the dimmer used.

Low Flicker (Pst LM < 1.0 at full load, TÜV Rheinland tested)

Frequently Asked Questions

How bright are Dulora bulbs?

LED brightness is measured in lumens, not watts. Here's a quick conversion guide:

  • 2-3W LED ≈ 25W incandescent (200-300 lumens)
  • 4-5W LED ≈ 40W incandescent (400-500 lumens)
  • 6-8W LED ≈ 60W incandescent (650-800 lumens)
  • 7.5-10W LED ≈ 75-100W incandescent (900-1200 lumens)
  • 11-12W LED ≈ 100-125W incandescent (1300-1500 lumens)

All Dulora product pages list wattage and lumen output so you can choose the perfect brightness for your needs.

What countries do you ship to?

Dulora bulbs are designed for over 25,000 hours of use. If you use your light for an average of 3 hours per day, your LED bulb could last over 22 years. This exceptional longevity significantly reduces the frequency of replacements compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, which typically last only 1,000-2,000 hours. Note that all LED bulbs' light output gradually decreases over time, a phenomenon known as lumen depreciation.

Are Dulora bulbs dimmable?

Yes, most Dulora bulbs are dimmable, allowing you to create the perfect ambience for any occasion. Look for the "dimmable" specification on the product page. For optimal performance, we recommend using LED-compatible dimmers. Some older dimmer switches may cause flickering or buzzing with LED bulbs. If you experience any issues, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

What is colour temperature, and which should I choose?

Colour temperature refers to the warmth or coolness of light, measured in Kelvins (K):

  • Ultra & Extra Warm (2000K-2200K): This calming light creates a relaxing ambiance, similar to the warm glow of candlelight.
  • This calming light gives off a warm glow, similar to candlelight. However, because it is such a soft light, it may not be suitable for activities that require focus, such as reading.
  • Warm White (2700K-3000K): This colour creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas.
  • Natural White (3500K-4000K): Provides a balanced, neutral light perfect for kitchens, offices, and workspaces.
  • Cool White (5000K-6500K): This colour delivers a crisp, energising light similar to daylight. It is best for task lighting, garages, and areas requiring detailed visibility.

Choose based on the mood you want to create and the purpose of the space.

Are Dulora bulbs compatible with my existing fixtures?

Dulora offer bulbs in all standard base types, ensuring compatibility with most fixtures. Common bases include:

  • E27/ES: Standard Edison Screw, the most common base type (27mm diameter)
  • B22/BC: Bayonet Cap, standard in many regions (22mm diameter)
  • E14/SES: Small Edison Screw, used in chandeliers and smaller fixtures (14mm diameter)
  • B15/SBC: Small Bayonet Cap, used in smaller fixtures (15mm diameter)
  • E12/SES: Mini Edison Screw, used for chandeliers and small fixtures from the US (12mm diameter)

Check your existing bulb's base type and match it with the corresponding Dulora product. If unsure, take a photo of your current bulb base and contact our customer service team for assistance.

Can Dulora bulbs be used in enclosed fixtures?

Some Dulora bulbs can be used in enclosed fixtures, but not all. Look for the "enclosed fixture compatible" specification on the product page. Enclosed fixtures trap heat, which can shorten LED lifespan if the bulb isn't designed for such applications. Our enclosed fixture-compatible bulbs feature enhanced heat dissipation technology to maintain performance and longevity even in enclosed environments. For fixtures without proper ventilation, we recommend choosing bulbs specifically rated for enclosed use.

What is the difference between clear, frost, opal, and porcelain LED bulbs?
  • Clear LED bulbs have a transparent glass covering that showcases the filament inside, creating a decorative, vintage appearance. They produce more directional light and create beautiful shadow patterns.
  • Frost, opal, and porcelain LED bulbs diffuse light, reducing glare and distributing illumination evenly. These bulbs are ideal for ambient lighting and minimising shadows when fabric or glass shades are used. Frosted bulbs allow good light transmission but with slightly visible LED filaments. Opal and porcelain bulbs provide uniform light diffusion and better LED concealment. Opal bulbs have a shiny finish, while porcelain bulbs have a matte finish.

Choose clear bulbs for decorative fixtures where the bulb is visible and frosted, opal or porcelain bulbs for everyday lighting where comfort and light distribution are priorities.

How much energy do Dulora bulbs save compared to traditional bulbs?

Dulora bulbs use up to 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs while providing the same brightness level. For example, a 6.5W GLS LED bulb produces the same light as a 60W incandescent bulb. This significant energy reduction translates to lower electricity bills and a smaller carbon footprint. Over the bulb's lifetime, you can save hundreds of dollars in energy costs per bulb.

What is your warranty policy?

Dulora bulbs come with a comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects. Most of our products carry a 2-year warranty, while premium lines may offer extended 3 to 5-year coverage. If your product fails during the warranty period under regular use, we'll replace it free of charge. Simply contact our customer service team with your order number and a description of the issue. Our no-quibble guarantee ensures a hassle-free experience if you encounter any problems.
