The candle bulb at the sweet spot between purely decorative and genuinely useful. The dimmable 4W Candle LED Bulb E14 Clear replaces a traditional 40W incandescent, filling chandeliers, sconces, and candelabras with 470 lumens of rich 2700K warm white light that creates atmosphere without leaving the room underlit. Ultra-high colour accuracy ensures the light renders colours and textures naturally, with skin tones that look warm and flattering. Backed by a 3-year warranty.
The Clear Glass Effect
The transparent glass envelope puts the LED filament array on full display, giving this candle its warm, golden character. At 40W-equivalent output, the filament glow sits in the right range for decorative fittings: bright enough to contribute real warmth to a room, warm enough to feel atmospheric rather than functional. In a chandelier with multiple arms or a candelabra centrepiece, several of these together build a consistent, golden warmth where every bulb contributes equally to the overall effect. When switched off, the visible filaments through the clear glass give each bulb a refined appearance that keeps the fitting looking intentional. Pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer for smooth, flicker-free control from full brightness down to a soft, barely-there glow.
Where It Belongs
The 4W E14 Clear Candle suits any setting where warm, decorative light is the goal and the bulb is on show. In the home, it works beautifully in dining room chandeliers, candelabras, hallway wall sconces, bedside lamps, and decorative ceiling fixtures where you want golden warmth without relying on a single bulb to light the whole room. In hospitality and commercial settings, it suits heritage-styles restaurant chandeliers, boutique hotel corridor sconces, wine bar feature fittings, and intimate retail interiors where atmospheric warmth sets the tone. The E14 small Edison screw base fits standard candelabra and small decorative fittings.
We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.
Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.
Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.
Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.
Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.

I think the bulbs are overpriced. I had to buy them when the bedside lamps I recently bought, not only did not have bulbs included, but were not the standard bayonet/screw in kind which are readily available. Not impressed.

Many LED lights and LED bulbs although efficient can have quite a poor CRI index rating (80-85 is quite common) in comparison to halogen or incandescent, so I was pleased to be able to obtain these very highly rated (CRI 95) LED bulbs and replace the bathroom mirror halogens with no loss of light quality.
