The Power Behind the Light

A quality LED driver is invisible by design. Silent, stable, and precisely engineered, it delivers consistent power that protects your globes and eliminates flicker at every dim level. The best installations start here, before the light even turns on.

Where It Belongs

The LED driver lives inside the wall or ceiling, invisible and unconsidered by anyone in the room. But its quality is present in every moment the lights are on. A poorly matched driver introduces flicker that tires the eyes before anyone consciously notices it. It causes incompatibility with dimmers that should work seamlessly. It shortens the life of globes that should last a decade. A quality driver eliminates all of that. In a residential renovation, a hospitality fit-out, or a marine installation where reliability is non-negotiable, the driver is the foundation everything else is built on.

Every Purchase Restores Sight

Dulora is a proud supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation. Every order helps fund cataract surgery and eye care programs across Australia. A simple bulb purchase. A life-changing outcome for someone who has never been able to see clearly.

Description

The Dulora VoltSwitch Driver is a dual-voltage constant voltage LED driver with a built-in 12V/24V selector switch, giving you the flexibility to power both 12V and 24V LED installations from a single unit. Simply set the onboard voltage selector to 12V or 24V during installation to match your lighting setup. Designed for non-dimmable applications where reliable, clean power delivery is the priority, the VoltSwitch simplifies stock management for installers and reduces the risk of specifying the wrong voltage driver on site.

Key Features

  • 12V/24V Switchable Output: A single physical switch lets you select between 12V and 24V output, so one driver covers both voltage requirements without stocking separate units.
  • Universal Input Voltage: 100-240VAC input means the VoltSwitch works on any mains supply worldwide, from Australian 230V through to 110V systems.
  • Constant Voltage Regulation: Delivers stable, consistent power to LED globes and strip, ensuring uniform brightness without voltage drop across longer cable runs.
  • Compact IP20 Design: Slim form factor fits comfortably inside ceiling voids, cabinetry, and standard mounting locations for indoor installations.
  • Wide Wattage Range: Available from 20W through to 100W, covering small accent lighting zones through to larger multi-globe circuits.
  • Simplified Stock Management: One SKU replaces two, reducing inventory complexity for electricians, contractors, and resellers.

Ideal Applications

Non-dimmable LED strip installations, under-cabinet and display lighting, signage and channel letter lighting, and any indoor low-voltage application where dimming is not required. Pair with Dulora 12V or 24V non-dimmable globes and LED strip for guaranteed compatibility.

Sizing Guide

Add up the total wattage of all globes or LED strip on the circuit. Select a driver with at least 20% headroom above the total load. For example, a 5-metre LED strip run at 30W total would pair with the 40W driver.

Frequently Asked Questions

How bright are Dulora bulbs?

LED brightness is measured in lumens, not watts. Here's a quick conversion guide:

  • 2-3W LED ≈ 25W incandescent (200-300 lumens)
  • 4-5W LED ≈ 40W incandescent (400-500 lumens)
  • 6-8W LED ≈ 60W incandescent (650-800 lumens)
  • 7.5-10W LED ≈ 75-100W incandescent (900-1200 lumens)
  • 11-12W LED ≈ 100-125W incandescent (1300-1500 lumens)

All Dulora product pages list wattage and lumen output so you can choose the perfect brightness for your needs.

What countries do you ship to?

Dulora bulbs are designed for over 25,000 hours of use. If you use your light for an average of 3 hours per day, your LED bulb could last over 22 years. This exceptional longevity significantly reduces the frequency of replacements compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, which typically last only 1,000-2,000 hours. Note that all LED bulbs' light output gradually decreases over time, a phenomenon known as lumen depreciation.

Are Dulora bulbs dimmable?

Yes, most Dulora bulbs are dimmable, allowing you to create the perfect ambience for any occasion. Look for the "dimmable" specification on the product page. For optimal performance, we recommend using LED-compatible dimmers. Some older dimmer switches may cause flickering or buzzing with LED bulbs. If you experience any issues, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

What is colour temperature, and which should I choose?

Colour temperature refers to the warmth or coolness of light, measured in Kelvins (K):

  • Ultra & Extra Warm (2000K-2200K): This calming light creates a relaxing ambiance, similar to the warm glow of candlelight.
  • This calming light gives off a warm glow, similar to candlelight. However, because it is such a soft light, it may not be suitable for activities that require focus, such as reading.
  • Warm White (2700K-3000K): This colour creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas.
  • Natural White (3500K-4000K): Provides a balanced, neutral light perfect for kitchens, offices, and workspaces.
  • Cool White (5000K-6500K): This colour delivers a crisp, energising light similar to daylight. It is best for task lighting, garages, and areas requiring detailed visibility.

Choose based on the mood you want to create and the purpose of the space.

Are Dulora bulbs compatible with my existing fixtures?

Dulora offer bulbs in all standard base types, ensuring compatibility with most fixtures. Common bases include:

  • E27/ES: Standard Edison Screw, the most common base type (27mm diameter)
  • B22/BC: Bayonet Cap, standard in many regions (22mm diameter)
  • E14/SES: Small Edison Screw, used in chandeliers and smaller fixtures (14mm diameter)
  • B15/SBC: Small Bayonet Cap, used in smaller fixtures (15mm diameter)
  • E12/SES: Mini Edison Screw, used for chandeliers and small fixtures from the US (12mm diameter)

Check your existing bulb's base type and match it with the corresponding Dulora product. If unsure, take a photo of your current bulb base and contact our customer service team for assistance.

Can Dulora bulbs be used in enclosed fixtures?

Some Dulora bulbs can be used in enclosed fixtures, but not all. Look for the "enclosed fixture compatible" specification on the product page. Enclosed fixtures trap heat, which can shorten LED lifespan if the bulb isn't designed for such applications. Our enclosed fixture-compatible bulbs feature enhanced heat dissipation technology to maintain performance and longevity even in enclosed environments. For fixtures without proper ventilation, we recommend choosing bulbs specifically rated for enclosed use.

What is the difference between clear, frost, opal, and porcelain LED bulbs?
  • Clear LED bulbs have a transparent glass covering that showcases the filament inside, creating a decorative, vintage appearance. They produce more directional light and create beautiful shadow patterns.
  • Frost, opal, and porcelain LED bulbs diffuse light, reducing glare and distributing illumination evenly. These bulbs are ideal for ambient lighting and minimising shadows when fabric or glass shades are used. Frosted bulbs allow good light transmission but with slightly visible LED filaments. Opal and porcelain bulbs provide uniform light diffusion and better LED concealment. Opal bulbs have a shiny finish, while porcelain bulbs have a matte finish.

Choose clear bulbs for decorative fixtures where the bulb is visible and frosted, opal or porcelain bulbs for everyday lighting where comfort and light distribution are priorities.

How much energy do Dulora bulbs save compared to traditional bulbs?

Dulora bulbs use up to 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs while providing the same brightness level. For example, a 6.5W GLS LED bulb produces the same light as a 60W incandescent bulb. This significant energy reduction translates to lower electricity bills and a smaller carbon footprint. Over the bulb's lifetime, you can save hundreds of dollars in energy costs per bulb.

What is your warranty policy?

Dulora bulbs come with a comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects. Most of our products carry a 2-year warranty, while premium lines may offer extended 3 to 5-year coverage. If your product fails during the warranty period under regular use, we'll replace it free of charge. Simply contact our customer service team with your order number and a description of the issue. Our no-quibble guarantee ensures a hassle-free experience if you encounter any problems.
