Since 2010, we have been working to restore something the lighting industry had quietly given up on: soul.
Because somewhere along the way, light lost its magic. LEDs became a race to the bottom: cheaper, colder, disposable. The warmth was gone. The glow was gone. Nobody seemed to care.
We did.

Sixteen Years of Getting the Light Right
When Michael founded the business in 2010, the goal was clear: build a better bulb. One that dimmed like it meant it. That did not flicker. That made colours glow and corners soften. Not just better specifications, but a better experience: the kind of light that transforms a functional space into one worth staying in.
Sixteen years later, that mission has grown into something more considered. The business is now Dulora. The name carries two Latin roots: durare, meaning to endure, and aura, meaning atmosphere. An enduring aura. A lasting atmosphere. That has been the goal the whole time; we just needed a name that said so.

What We Believe
