The Low-Voltage Advantage
Running on 24 volts DC instead of mains voltage significantly reduces the risk of electric shock, especially in bathroom wet zones, boat galleys, and outdoor kitchens where mains wiring isn't practical or safe to install at all. Clear glass keeps the filament visible under the crisper natural white tone, so the fitting stays decorative rather than purely utilitarian. When switched off, the visible filaments through the clear glass maintain a clean, precise appearance.
It's compatible with PWM and 1–10V dimmers, so the light can still be dimmed despite running on a low-voltage circuit, holding a steady, flicker-free glow that suits task-adjacent fittings needing to flex between bright, functional light and a softer evening setting.
