L’effet Gold Crown
La couronne métallique dorée recouvre le dôme supérieur de l’ampoule et agit comme un réflecteur qui renvoie la lumière vers la base et la monture environnante, plutôt que de la projeter directement vers le bas. Enclosed fixtures trap heat, which can shorten LED lifespan if the bulb isn't designed for such applications. For fixtures without proper ventilation, we recommend choosing bulbs specifically rated for enclosed use.

One of the bulbs blew after only half an hour which was dissapointing

I bought these for compatibility with CBUS and they do work well on dimmer channels. The problem is that they have a very high failure rate. Out of an order of 30 odd I had one DOA, one pop after a few seconds. A few more years exhibited faults like not turning off when the channel was 0% or flashing then dying. I have bought about 40 in total and 6-7 have various faults.

The gibes I ordered arrived very well packed I had a flickering problem with one of the globes and after contacting liquid LEDs a replacement was sent out quickly

After the proven application of another type of filament bulb from LiquidLEDs, I fitted the Gold Crown bulb to a twenty years old ceiling fan light combination equipped with a remote controlled, leading edge dimmer. I'm pleased to relate the bulb operated without flicker over the range of the dimmer and produced a delightful lighting effect without glare. The delivery of the bulb was on time and without hassles.
