Lampadine LED E12

The E12 miniature screw base appears on candelabra-style fittings and certain specialty decorative fixtures. If a fitting has an E12 socket, it's typically a compact, decorative fitting designed around the smaller candelabra form.

Dulora's E12 range covers candle forms in Warm White 2700K and Extra Warm 2200K with CRI 90+, providing the same color rendering quality as the rest of the Dulora candle range in the compact base type. Dimmable models are available for fixtures on dimmer circuits.

Before ordering, confirm that the fitting is E12 (miniature screw) rather than E14 (small screw), which is the more common small base in many markets. The two are close in size but not interchangeable. For the E14 range, see E14 Bulbs. For the full candle range, see Candle Bulbs.

E12 Bulbs: Confirming the Base for Candelabra Fittings

How do I confirm whether my fitting is E12 or E14?

The difference is small: E12 measures about 12mm in diameter, E14 measures about 14mm. The simplest method is to remove the existing bulb and measure the screw diameter, or check the markings on the bulb base.

Ordering the wrong base is a common mistake with this product category. Take a moment to measure before purchasing.

Are E12 bulbs dimmable?

Dimmable and non-dimmable E12 models are available. Dimmable models work with a quality LED-rated dimmer. For fittings on a dimmer circuit, always choose the dimmable version.
