Which base size do I need, and is E12 suitable for US fittings?

We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.

What is the difference between Clear, Frosted, and Porcelain glass finishes?

Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.

How do I choose the right colour temperature (2200K to 4000K)?

Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.

Are these LED candle bulbs compatible with my dimmer switch?

Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.

Do these bulbs produce "True Colour" light?

Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.

Good- but not quite perfect.

The 6W bulbs certainly lifted the light levels to adequate compared with the 4W bulbs they replaced. I was a bit surprised that there is a slightly flicker noticeable if you are looking for it even with 10 bulbs together. The light is definitely at the warm end of the scale.
The order was dispatched promptly and well packaged.
Bottom line I will buying more of the same to round out the change as Liquid LEDs was the only store I could find with the right product at a sensible price.

Pricing was good, service and postage was quick. Bulbs look yo be good quality and are worlds above the existing incandescent globes. Just put 30 of these in a chandelier, fingers crossed they last the distance.

Dimmable 6w LED's

Not too bad but still flicker a little.

This is disappointing to hear, but may I ask you which dimmer you are using. LED bulbs are not compatible with all old dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs. Old, incompatible dimmer switches when wired to an LED light can (and often does) produce a flickering problem. If your dimmer switch is indeed old, may I suggest replacing it with a new Trailing Edge dimmer. It will allow you to smoothly control the light's intensity and prolong the lifespan of your new led bulbs. Have a great day!
