Do these globe bulbs flicker when dimmed to low levels?

No, our Globe collection is engineered with advanced flicker-free drivers. When paired with a high-quality trailing-edge LED dimmer, they provide a smooth, linear transition down to very low light levels without the annoying buzzing or strobing common in cheaper LED bulbs.

What is the difference between G80, G95, and G125 sizes?

These numbers refer to the diameter of the glass globe at its widest point in millimetres. The G80 (80mm) is ideal for smaller lamps, the G95 (95mm) is the standard "gallery" size for pendants, and the G125 (125mm) is a large statement bulb designed to be a focal point in open-style fixtures.

Will the "True Colour" CRI rating make a difference in my home?

Absolutely. With a CRI of 93+, our bulbs render colours far more accurately than standard LEDs. This is critical in dining rooms and bathrooms, as it ensures food looks appetising, skin tones look natural, and interior paint colours appear exactly as the designer intended.

Can I use these large globe bulbs in enclosed light fittings?

While these bulbs are highly efficient, we recommend using them in open or well-ventilated fixtures to ensure the internal electronics stay cool. For oversized bulbs like the G125 or larger, they are best displayed in pendant cords or "naked" sockets where their aesthetic design can be fully appreciated.

Which glass finish should I choose: Clear, Opal, Porcelain, or Gold Tint?

Clear glass is perfect for showing off the internal filaments; Opal or Porcelain provide a soft, diffused glow that eliminates shadows, and Gold Tint adds a warm, amber ambience reminiscent of candlelight. Choose the finish that best complements your room's mood and existing hardware.

Do I need a special electrician to install these dimmable LEDs?

No, these bulbs are "retro-fit," meaning they fit directly into your existing E27 or B22 sockets. However, if you are experiencing dimming issues, we recommend having an electrician check that your wall dimmer is a modern "Trailing Edge" model, which is the standard for high-performance LED lighting.

Are these globe bulbs bright enough to light an entire room?

This depends on the specific wattage and room size, as our collection offers everything from soft ambient 4W (470lm) globes to powerful 11W–12W (1500lm+) statement bulbs. A single high-wattage globe in our collection is equivalent to a traditional 100W bulb and is more than capable of illuminating a small-to-medium room; however, for larger living areas, we recommend using a cluster of globes or layering with multiple light sources to achieve a professional, balanced glow.

How much energy do Dulora bulbs save compared to traditional bulbs?

Dulora bulbs use up to 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs while providing the same brightness level. The right colour!

I originally had 2700K version of the globe and it was good but not right for my space, made things a bit yellow. When one of the globes went I decided to replace with the 4000K, thinking I needed a whiter light but it was too white. Exchanged it for the 3000K and it’s perfect for my space and matches the colour of all other lights. Service by LiquidLEDs was great! Only suggestion would be a more cost-effective way to exchange when it comes to shipping costs.
