Die dimmbare 2-W-Kerzen-LED-Lampe B15 Frost liefert durch das mattierte Glas 200 Lumen warmweißes Licht mit 2700 K. Sie ersetzt eine herkömmliche 25-W-Glühlampe und bietet eine äußerst hohe Farbwiedergabe sowie einen gleichmäßigen, flimmerfreien Betrieb an einem Phasenabschnittdimmer. Mit 3 Jahren Garantie.

Der Mattierungseffekt

Mattiertes Glas streut das Licht gleichmäßig und verhindert sichtbare Lichtpunkte – ein Vorteil bei Leuchten mit mehreren Lampen, bei denen jede Kugel gleich aussehen soll. Auch hinter Stoff- oder Papierlampenschirmen ist es die bessere Wahl, da eine klare Lampe sichtbare Schatten des Glühfadens auf den Schirm werfen kann, was eine mattierte Lampe vollständig verhindert. Im ausgeschalteten Zustand sorgt die matte Oberfläche dafür, dass alle Lampen in der Leuchte ein einheitliches, klares Erscheinungsbild haben. Bei einem mehrarmigen Kronleuchter ist das wichtiger als bei einer einzelnen Lampe, bei der Unterschiede zwischen den Lampen direkt ins Auge fallen.

Mit 200 Lumen ist die Lichtleistung bewusst sanft und stimmungsvoll und eignet sich für Umgebungen, in denen Wärme und Atmosphäre wichtiger sind als Arbeitsbeleuchtung. Ein Phasenabschnittdimmer ermöglicht es, eine ganze Gruppe dieser Lampen gleichmäßig zu dimmen – flimmerfrei von voller Helligkeit bis zu einem niedrigen, konstanten Leuchten.

Im Gastgewerbe eignet sie sich für Hotelflure und Restaurant-Speiseräume mit mehreren Leuchten, die ein einheitliches Erscheinungsbild benötigen, ebenso wie für Veranstaltungsräume und Eventlocations, in denen ein abgestimmter Lampensatz über viele Leuchten hinweg für ein harmonisches Gesamtbild sorgt. Which base size do I need, and is E12 suitable for US fittings?

We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.

What is the difference between Clear, Frosted, and Porcelain glass finishes?

Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.

How do I choose the right colour temperature (2200K to 4000K)?

Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.

Are these LED candle bulbs compatible with my dimmer switch?

Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.

Do these bulbs produce "True Colour" light?

Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.
