Der Frost-Effekt

Die mattierte Oberfläche liegt zwischen klarem Glas und Porzellan: Sie mildert das LED-Filament-Array ab, ohne es vollständig zu verbergen, und erzeugt einen sanften, diffusen Schein auf der gesamten Oberfläche der Lampe. Bei einer Leistung entsprechend 40 W erzeugt die mattierte Kerzenlampe eine warme, ruhige Lichtqualität, die bei Leuchten mit mehreren Lampen aus kurzer Entfernung angenehm für die Augen ist – etwa in Kronleuchtern, mehrarmigen Kerzenleuchtern und Wandleuchten, bei denen aus jeder Fassung ein gleichmäßiges, angenehmes Licht kommen soll. Das mattierte Glas macht diese Kerzenlampe außerdem zur besseren Wahl für Stoff- und Papierschirme, da eine Lampe aus Klarglas sichtbare Filamentschatten auf das Schirmmaterial werfen kann. Im ausgeschalteten Zustand verleiht die matte, mattierte Oberfläche der Lampe ein klares, zurückhaltendes Erscheinungsbild, das sich unauffällig in die Leuchte einfügt. Which base size do I need, and is E12 suitable for US fittings?

We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.

What is the difference between Clear, Frosted, and Porcelain glass finishes?

Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.

How do I choose the right colour temperature (2200K to 4000K)?

Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.

Are these LED candle bulbs compatible with my dimmer switch?

Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.

Do these bulbs produce "True Colour" light?

Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.

4W Candle Dimmable LED Bulb (E14) Frosted in Warm White

Order arrived quickly to Perth. I made the right choice with the 4W bulbs. The brightness is perfect. 1 bulb didn't work but luckily I had ordered a spare. I may have over tightened it but don't think so. My chandelier holds 11 bulbs. If I used 11 x 40watt incandescent bulbs (which I never did) it would have used 440 watts - more than a big screen tv along with the high temperature and potential fire risk with so many incandescent bulbs. Now the chandelier uses 44 watts total (90% less power consumed) and runs cool. They dim well also. Would recommend this product and I will by another 10 or so for our other chandelier.
