I bought about 40 or so dimmable mirrored globes for my shop fitout. These were mostly the g45s.
Here's what is incorrect about the product specifications:
- All globes are beginning to fail after 8 months of non-continuous use. So far 17 have failed and their failure is speeding up. This is not a dimmer issue, as globes are failing in stand-alone lamps. Nothing like a 20,000 hour average lifespan.
- The larger globes are not flicker free. Micro-flickering is apparent and commented on by customers.
- dimming is inconsistent. Sometimes everything dims collectively as they should, other times the globes will flicker randomly and drastically.
I was fine with a few failing, but this is getting ridiculous.

Unfortunately, to hear that numerous bulbs have failed within a short period. In addition, the large bulbs are not flicker-free, as stated on the website. I recommend using a dimmer specifically for LEDs for smooth, flicker-free dimming. An LED dimmer would also prolong the life of your LED bulbs. The product comes with a 24 months warranty. Please submit your request for a warranty replacement to help@liquidleds.com.au with your order number.
