Weinig lampen laten een ruimte zo tot zijn recht komen als een oversized transparante bol, en de Sunset Dim Globe G125 combineert dat formaat met een opvallend filament en een warme dim-to-warm-gloed. De lamp is dimbaar en zet 7,8 watt om in 806 lumen warmwit licht van 2700K, vergelijkbaar met een traditionele gloeilamp van 60 W. Bij het dimmen wordt het licht intenser amberkleurig en daalt het naar 1800K. De ultrahoge kleurweergave zorgt ervoor dat alles eronder natuurgetrouw uitziet, en de E27-fitting met Edison-schroefdraad past in de meeste standaardfittingen. Inclusief 3 jaar garantie.
Het effect van helder glas
Met een diameter van 125 millimeter maakt de transparante bol van het lange filament het middelpunt van de lamp. Het filament gloeit warm en goudkleurig in het extra grote glas en werpt een subtiele schittering door de ruimte. Een bol van dit formaat mag gezien worden: het transparante glas en het zichtbare filament komen het best tot hun recht in open pendels en fittingen zonder lampenkap. Wie liever zacht, gelijkmatig licht heeft zonder zichtbaar filament, kan kiezen voor de Porcelain Globe G125, die hetzelfde formaat combineert met een zachtere gloed.
De dim-to-warmfunctie voorkomt dat zo’n grote bol ooit hard aanvoelt. In plaats van één vaste lichtkleur verschuift het licht tijdens het dimmen naar amber, waardoor het laag en goudkleurig wordt, als het laatste daglicht. Zo is de grootste bol in het assortiment ook een van de prettigste om dagelijks te gebruiken. Met een led-compatibele dimmer dimt hij soepel en zonder haperingen.
Waar hij tot zijn recht komt
De transparante Globe G125 wil de ruimte krijgen om indruk te maken. Thuis komt hij tot zijn recht in hoge pendels boven trappenhuizen en entrees, als enkele blikvanger boven een eettafel of kookeiland, en in ruimtes met dubbele hoogte waar een grote, warme bol de blik omhoog trekt. In plafonds van restaurants en bars, hotellobby’s en lounges, maar ook in evenement- en winkelruimtes doet hij hetzelfde: een oversized filamentbol die de sfeer bepaalt. De E27-fitting met Edison-schroefdraad past in de standaardfittingen met schroefdraad die in de meeste pendels en plafondfittingen worden gebruikt.
