Wanneer een armatuur meerdere identieke kaarslampen gebruikt en ze allemaal bij elkaar moeten passen, is dit de juiste lamp. De dimbare 2W Candle-ledlamp B15 Frost levert 200 lumen warmwit licht van 2700 K via een gematteerde glazen afwerking. Hij vervangt een traditionele gloeilamp van 25 W en biedt een uitzonderlijk hoge kleurweergave en gelijkmatige, flikkervrije prestaties met een dimmer voor faseafsnijding. Inclusief 3 jaar garantie.

Het gematteerde effect

Gematteerd glas verspreidt het licht gelijkmatig, zonder zichtbare hotspots. Dat is een voordeel bij armaturen met meerdere lampen, waarbij elke lamp er hetzelfde uit moet zien. Het is ook de betere keuze achter stoffen of papieren lampenkappen, omdat een heldere lamp zichtbare schaduwen van de gloeidraad op de kap kan werpen, terwijl een gematteerde lamp dit volledig voorkomt. Wanneer de lampen uit zijn, zorgt het gematteerde oppervlak voor een strakke, consistente uitstraling van alle lampen in het armatuur. Dat is belangrijker bij een kroonluchter met meerdere armen dan bij een losse lamp, waarbij eventuele verschillen tussen de lampen duidelijk zichtbaar zijn.

Met 200 lumen is de lichtopbrengst bewust zacht en sfeervol, geschikt voor omgevingen waar warmte en sfeer belangrijker zijn dan functionele verlichting. Met een dimmer voor faseafsnijding kan een hele groep van deze lampen soepel tegelijk worden gedimd, met flikkervrije prestaties van volledige helderheid tot een lage, rustige gloed.

Waar deze lamp tot zijn recht komt

Geschikt voor kroonluchters met meerdere armen, wandlampen en tafellampen met een kap, waar een zachte, gelijkmatige gloed van meerdere lampen belangrijker is dan zichtbare details van de gloeidraad. In de horeca past hij goed in wandlampen in hotelgangen en restaurantzalen met meerdere armaturen die er uniform uit moeten zien, evenals in feestzalen en evenementenlocaties waar een bij elkaar passende set lampen in veel armaturen voor een samenhangende uitstraling zorgt. Ook een natuurlijke keuze voor trappenhuizen en gangen waar meerdere kleine wandlampen langs één muur er hetzelfde uit moeten zien. De B15 past in de kleine bajonetsokkel die wordt gebruikt in decoratieve en compacte armaturen.

Which base size do I need, and is E12 suitable for US fittings?

We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.

What is the difference between Clear, Frosted, and Porcelain glass finishes?

Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.

How do I choose the right colour temperature (2200K to 4000K)?

Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.

Are these LED candle bulbs compatible with my dimmer switch?

Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.

Do these bulbs produce "True Colour" light?

Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.
