Een matte kaarslamp voor een fitting met kaarsvoet, waarbij een zachte, gelijkmatige gloed belangrijker is dan zichtbare filamentdetails. De dimbare 4W Candle-ledlamp E12 Frost levert 470 lumen warmwit licht van 2700 K door de matte glasafwerking en vervangt een traditionele gloeilamp van 40 W met een ultrahoge kleurweergave. Inclusief 3 jaar garantie.

Het matte effect

Matglas verspreidt het licht gelijkmatig over de hele bol, zonder zichtbare felle lichtplek, en verzacht de gloed op een manier die helder glas niet kan evenaren. Het is ook een betere keuze dan stoffen of papieren lampenkappen, omdat een lamp met een helder filament scherpe schaduwen op het materiaal van de kap kan werpen, wat bij een matte bol wordt voorkomen.

Wanneer de lamp uit is, geeft de matte afwerking de lamp een strakke, ingetogen uitstraling die past bij armaturen waarbij de lamp zelf niet het middelpunt hoort te zijn. De lamp is compatibel met standaarddimmers voor faseafsnijding en behoudt een gelijkmatige, flikkervrije dimcurve. Zo kan de helderheid ver worden teruggebracht voor een intieme sfeer, zonder ongelijkmatige helderheidssprongen.

Waar de lamp tot zijn recht komt

Geschikt voor bedlampjes met kap, kroonluchters boven de eettafel en wandlampen in de hal met een fitting voor een kaarslamp. In de horeca past de lamp in boetiekhotelkamers en privéruimtes van restaurants met geïmporteerde armaturen in kaarsstijl, maar ook in locaties met een historische uitstraling, waar een zachte, diffuse gloed beter past bij oudere houten en gestucte interieurs dan een fonkelend filament. De lamp werkt ook goed in babykamers en kinderkamers, waar zacht, niet-verblindend licht belangrijker is dan decoratieve schittering, en in gastenkamers waar een ingetogen, rustgevende gloed de voorkeur heeft. De E12 past in de fitting voor kaarslampen die in geïmporteerde en decoratieve armaturen wordt gebruikt.

Which base size do I need, and is E12 suitable for US fittings?

We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.

What is the difference between Clear, Frosted, and Porcelain glass finishes?

Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.

How do I choose the right colour temperature (2200K to 4000K)?

Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.

Are these LED candle bulbs compatible with my dimmer switch?

Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.

Do these bulbs produce "True Colour" light?

Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.

Disappointed

The description of the globes was perfect ,they arrived in a timely fashion.However the first globe broke off the base as I screwed it in very gently , then taking particular care put the rest in place BUT there are a few globes that are only just holding together.
