Het effect van helder glas
Helder glas laat de filamentdraad zien in helder, neutraal licht, waardoor de lamp er helder en duidelijk uitziet in plaats van de zachtere amberkleurige tint van warmere kaarslampen. De lamp is compatibel met standaard dimmers voor faseafsnijding en behoudt een vloeiende, flikkervrije dimcurve. Zo kan de helderheid voor gebruik in de avond worden verlaagd zonder dat de heldere kleurweergave verloren gaat.
Wanneer de lamp is uitgeschakeld, zorgt de zichtbare filamentdraad ervoor dat de lamp er afgewerkt uitziet in plaats van eenvoudig, vooral in open armaturen waarin de kandelaarfitting zichtbaar is en de lamp zelf naast decoratieve messing- of glazen onderdelen in het oog springt. Het uiterlijk van de onverlichte lamp maakt net zo goed deel uit van het armatuur als het licht dat de lamp verspreidt.
Waar de lamp tot zijn recht komt
Geschikt voor badkamerverlichting bij spiegels, wandlampen in keukens en inloopkasten waar helderheid en kleurweergave belangrijker zijn dan warmte. In commerciële omgevingen past de lamp in paskamers van boetieks en ontvangstruimtes van kantoren met geïmporteerde armaturen in kandelaarstijl, evenals in horecaprojecten waarvoor een E12-fitting wordt voorgeschreven. De lamp is ook een praktische keuze voor wasruimtes en studio's met hanglampen in kandelaarstijl, waar een nauwkeurige, natuurgetrouwe kleurweergave nodig is, vooral wanneer stoffen- of verfstalen onder het licht worden gecontroleerd. De E12 past in de kandelaarfitting die wordt gebruikt in geïmporteerde en decoratieve armaturen.
We stock a full range of bases (E14, E27, B15, B22), including the E12 Candelabra base. The E12 is the standard size for light fittings imported from the US; if you have a North American chandelier or lamp, this is the correct bulb for your fixture.
Clear glass is designed for crystal chandeliers to create a brilliant sparkle; Frosted glass diffuses light to reduce harsh glares; and Porcelain (Opal) offers an entirely uniform, matte white glow. Choose Porcelain or Frosted for a softer, more contemporary aesthetic that is easy on the eyes.
Select 2200K (Sunset Glow) for an ultra-warm, vintage feel; 2700K (Warm White) for traditional living areas; 3000K (Soft White) for a slightly cleaner look; or 4000K (Cool White) for task-heavy spaces like kitchens or work areas.
Our candle bulbs are fully dimmable and optimised for modern trailing-edge LED dimmers. To ensure flicker-free performance and a long lifespan, we recommend avoiding older "leading-edge" magnetic dimmers, which may not be compatible with low-wattage LED technology.
Yes, all our LED candles feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI), providing "True Colour" light. This ensures that your interior colours, furniture, and fabrics appear rich and accurate, rather than looking dull or greyish as they often do with lower-quality bulbs.
