Het effect van helder glas
Zonder de amberkleurige tint van zijn tegenhanger laat de Clear Grand 180 het ledfilament centraal staan. Het verfijnde filamentpatroon is volledig zichtbaar door het transparante glas en creëert een warme, gouden schittering op een schaal die de lamp tot een echt blikvanger maakt in elke open armatuur. De extra warme tint van 2200 K zorgt nog altijd voor een diepe, sfeervolle warmte, maar het heldere glas geeft de ruimte een lichtere, ruimtelijkere uitstraling dan de amberkleurige variant. Zo behouden de architectuur en het meubilair hun eigen kleur, in plaats van volledig in goud te worden gehuld. Het effect is nog steeds intiem en uitnodigend, maar met een helderheid die past bij ingetogen interieurs waarin je de warmte van het licht wilt zonder de zwaarte van getint glas. Met een diameter van 180 mm heeft de globe dezelfde visuele dramatiek en schaal als zijn amberkleurige tegenhanger. Wanneer de lamp is uitgeschakeld, onthult het heldere glas de volledige filamentarchitectuur, waardoor de globe een verfijnde, sculpturale uitstraling krijgt die ook bij daglicht zijn plaats in de armatuur verdient. Combineer de lamp met een compatibele trailing-edge-dimmer voor een soepele, flikkervrije regeling van volledige helderheid tot een zachte, sfeervolle gloed.

De Clear Grand 180 past in dezelfde grootschalige omgevingen als de amberkleurige variant, maar komt het best tot zijn recht in eigentijdse, Scandinavische en industriële interieurs, waar de transparantie van het glas aansluit bij strakke lijnen en neutrale kleurenpaletten. These numbers refer to the diameter of the glass globe at its widest point in millimetres. The G80 (80mm) is ideal for smaller lamps, the G95 (95mm) is the standard "gallery" size for pendants, and the G125 (125mm) is a large statement bulb designed to be a focal point in open-style fixtures.
Absolutely. With a CRI of 93+, our bulbs render colours far more accurately than standard LEDs. This is critical in dining rooms and bathrooms, as it ensures food looks appetising, skin tones look natural, and interior paint colours appear exactly as the designer intended.
While these bulbs are highly efficient, we recommend using them in open or well-ventilated fixtures to ensure the internal electronics stay cool. For oversized bulbs like the G125 or larger, they are best displayed in pendant cords or "naked" sockets where their aesthetic design can be fully appreciated.
Clear glass is perfect for showing off the internal filaments; Opal or Porcelain provide a soft, diffused glow that eliminates shadows, and Gold Tint adds a warm, amber ambience reminiscent of candlelight. Choose the finish that best complements your room's mood and existing hardware.
No, these bulbs are "retro-fit," meaning they fit directly into your existing E27 or B22 sockets. However, if you are experiencing dimming issues, we recommend having an electrician check that your wall dimmer is a modern "Trailing Edge" model, which is the standard for high-performance LED lighting.
This depends on the specific wattage and room size, as our collection offers everything from soft ambient 4W (470lm) globes to powerful 11W–12W (1500lm+) statement bulbs. A single high-wattage globe in our collection is equivalent to a traditional 100W bulb and is more than capable of illuminating a small-to-medium room; however, for larger living areas, we recommend using a cluster of globes or layering with multiple light sources to achieve a professional, balanced glow.
