Zelfs de kleinste schroeffitting verdient een echte kaars, en de Sunset Dim Candle, E12 geeft compacte fittingen een slank silhouet en een warm-dim-effect. De lamp is dimbaar, verbruikt 4,8 watt en levert 470 lumen warm wit licht van 2700 K als vervanging voor een traditionele gloeilamp van 40 W. Bij het dimmen verandert het licht geleidelijk in diep amberkleurig licht van 1800 K. Het effect van helder glas
Bij zo’n kleine kaarslamp is de gloeidraad het detail dat het verschil maakt. Een fijne ledstrip loopt door het heldere glas en geeft een warme, fonkelende gloed. Een groepje ervan kan een armatuur echt karakter geven. Als de lamp uitstaat, behoudt de gloeidraad een nette vintage uitstraling, wat belangrijk is in de kleine open fittingen waarin een E12-kaarslamp meestal goed zichtbaar is. Het warm-dim-effect onderscheidt deze lamp van een gewone led-kaarslamp. In plaats van één egale lichtkleur wordt het licht bij het dimmen steeds amberkleuriger, waarbij de gloed zachter wordt zoals een echte vlam wanneer de avond valt. Met een led-compatibele dimmer dimt de lamp gelijkmatig, zonder flikkeren of schokken.
Waar de lamp tot zijn recht komt
De E12 Candle is bedoeld voor kleinere, decoratieve armaturen. In huis gaat het om compacte kroonluchters met meerdere armen, verlichting voor schilderijen en spiegels, schoorsteenmantellampen en kleine wandlampen waarin een kaarslamp met standaardformaat te zwaar zou ogen. In boetiekkroonluchters, kast- en plankverlichting en knusse armaturen in restaurants en bars brengt de lamp een kleine, warme vlam in de ruimte. De kleine E12-Edison-schroeffitting past in de kleine, kandelaarachtige fittingen die worden gebruikt in compacte kroonluchters, wandlampen en decoratieve lampen.
