Het ambereffect
Het getinte amberkleurige glas geeft The Grand 125 zijn kenmerkende karakter. In plaats van neutraal wit licht te produceren, maakt de amberkleurige coating elke lumen die erdoorheen komt warmer, waardoor het licht verschuift naar een diepe, honingkleurige goudtint die meer aan kaarslicht doet denken dan aan conventionele binnenverlichting. Schakel de lamp boven een eettafel in en de ruimte trekt zich als het ware naar binnen: gezichten ogen warmer, houten oppervlakken gaan gloeien en de rest van de kamer vervaagt tot een comfortabele achtergrond. Met een diameter van 125 mm heeft de globe voldoende formaat om een pendel- of open armatuur visueel te verankeren, maar blijft hij compact genoeg om in een cluster of rij te worden gebruikt zonder het armatuur te overheersen. De ledfilamenten binnenin zijn zichtbaar door het getinte glas en creëren een zachte gloed in vintage-stijl, zonder de kwetsbaarheid of het energieverspilling van een traditionele gloeidraadlamp. Wanneer de lamp uitstaat, geeft het getinte amberkleurige glas de globe een warme, gloeiende uitstraling die ook bij vol daglicht overeind blijft, als een stuk gekleurd glas dat bijdraagt aan het ontwerp van de ruimte zonder verlicht te hoeven worden. Drama for us is the lights don’t give off usable light. We spent more than we were going to and unfortunately will have to buy more bulbs that are usable.
We have a dimmer switch but still not usable light on highest setting.

What you're describing isn't a product fault. The Grand 125 is a 4W, 180-lumen decorative globe designed for mood and atmosphere, not for functional room lighting. The amber-coated glass and 2200K output are designed to produce a candle-like glow, and at 180 lumens, even on the highest setting, it's intentionally soft and warm.
