De Sunset Dim MR16 levert 450 lumen met slechts 7 watt en vervangt een traditionele halogeenlamp van 50 W, met het warme, natuurlijke dimgedrag dat standaardleds simpelweg niet bieden. Op volle helderheid krijg je een helder warm wit van 2700 K voor alledaagse taken. Naarmate je de dimmer lager zet, verandert het licht geleidelijk in een diepe, extra warme kaarslichtgloed van 1800 K. Dankzij de ultrahoge kleurweergave ziet alles in de ruimte eruit zoals het hoort. Inclusief 3 jaar garantie.

Het dim-to-warm-effect

Wanneer je de lichtopbrengst verlaagt, daalt de kleurtemperatuur geleidelijk: van warm wit via amber naar een rijke, diepe kaarslichtwarmte. De overgang verloopt automatisch. Er zijn geen apps, slimme bedieningselementen of programmering nodig. Combineer de lamp met een geschikte fase-afsnijdingsdimmer en de overgang gebeurt natuurlijk over het volledige dimbereik.

's Avonds krijgt een ruimte die door deze spotlights wordt verlicht een soort gelaagde, gouden warmte waardoor mensen graag blijven. De gerichte bundel van 36° zorgt ervoor dat die warmte precies daar terechtkomt waar je haar wilt, of dat nu op een eettafel, in een leeshoek of op een architectonisch detail aan de muur is.

Waar hij tot zijn recht komt

De Sunset Dim MR16 is speciaal ontworpen voor ruimtes waar verlichting twee functies moet vervullen: overdag helder en functioneel, 's avonds warm en sfeervol. In huis is hij geschikt voor inbouwspots in slaapkamers, accentverlichting in woonkamers en badkamerverlichting bij de spiegel, waar een ontspannen sfeer aan het einde van de dag belangrijk is. In de horeca en commerciële omgevingen is hij zeer geschikt voor inbouwspots in restaurants, plafonds van wijnbars, hotelkamerverlichting en boetiekretail, waar de sfeer moet kunnen verschuiven van de energie van overdag naar de intimiteit van de avond. Voor elektriciens die verlichting voorschrijven voor residentiële of commerciële projecten past de GU5.3-fitting in standaardbehuizingen voor MR16-inbouwspots en is een geschikte 12V-transformator vereist. Daardoor is het een eenvoudige retrofit met een merkbare verbetering van de lichtkwaliteit.

What halogen does the Sunset Dim MR16 replace?

The Sunset Dim MR16 replaces a traditional 50W halogen MR16, producing 450 lumens from 7 watts. Unlike a fixed-colour LED, it shifts from 2700K warm white down to 1800K amber as you lower the dimmer, recreating the way a halogen naturally warmed as it dimmed.

How does the dim-to-warm feature work?

As you lower the dimmer, the colour temperature shifts continuously and linearly from 2700K warm white toward 1800K deep amber. There are no steps or jumps in the transition. No smart controls or special apps are needed; it works with any compatible trailing-edge dimmer and a quality low-voltage transformer.

What dimmer do I need?

Yes. The Sunset Dim MR16 uses a standard GU5.3 bi-pin base and measures 50mm in diameter and 48mm in total length, matching the footprint of a standard 50mm halogen MR16. It operates on 12V AC/DC and requires a compatible low-voltage transformer.
