Our extra warm globes in 2000K and 2200K colour temperatures have been independently spectrum-tested and contain just 1.3–1.5% blue light content. There is virtually no energy in the blue wavelength band below 480nm, making them among the lowest blue light LED globes available.
For context, a standard warm white LED at 2700K contains around 2.0–2.5% blue light, while cool white LEDs at 4000K and above can contain 15% or more. Our extra warm range represents the lowest blue light output in our lineup by a significant margin.
While our extra warm globes are not marketed as "blue light free," the blue content is near-zero. Dedicated blue-blocking bulbs typically operate at around 1800K and are engineered to reach absolute zero blue light in the 380–500nm range. The practical difference between 0% and our 1.3–1.5% is marginal, and our globes are designed to work as beautiful, dimmable, everyday lighting rather than single-purpose sleep bulbs.
Our extra warm globes are available across a range of styles, including classic A60, Edison ST64, fancy round G45, candle, and decorative shapes, in E27, E14, and B22 fittings. All spectral data is based on independent testing conducted by Everfine Corporation.
