De Sunset Dim Candle, B15 heeft de klassieke kaarsvorm met een kleine bajonetfitting en een warme, dieper wordende gloed. De lamp is dimbaar en verbruikt 4,8 watt voor 470 lumen warmwit licht van 2700 K, als alternatief voor een traditionele gloeilamp van 40 W. Aan de lage kant dimt hij naar een diepe amberkleur van 1800 K. De ultrahoge kleurweergave houdt kleuren en texturen natuurgetrouw bij elke lichtsterkte, en de kleine B15-bajonetfitting blijft stevig zitten dankzij een eenvoudige duw-en-draai-beweging. Het effect van helder glas
Door het heldere glas is de gloeidraad zichtbaar, en juist die zorgt voor de warmte en schittering van de kaarslamp. Een slanke rij leds gloeit zachtjes door het midden van de lamp, vangt het licht van nabijgelegen glas en metaal op en zorgt voor een nette vintage uitstraling wanneer de lamp uitstaat. Daardoor is hij ideaal voor open en aan de wand gemonteerde armaturen waarin de kaarslamp zichtbaar is. Achter een kap, of wanneer je liever een diffuus licht zonder zichtbare gloeidraad wilt, voorkomt de Porcelain Candle de schaduwen die een heldere lamp op de stof kan werpen.
Het verschil met een gewone led-kaarslamp merk je zodra je hem dimt. In plaats van dezelfde tint te behouden, wordt het licht tijdens het dimmen warmer en amberkleuriger, met een zachte, lage gloed in plaats van koel licht. Met een ledcompatibele dimmer verloopt het dimmen gelijkmatig.
Waar hij tot zijn recht komt
De B15 Candle past in armaturen met een kleine bajonetfitting, waarbij de duw-en-draai-bevestiging hem stevig op zijn plaats houdt. Thuis zijn dat wandlampen met bajonetfitting, bed- en buffetlampen en kleinere pendel- en kroonluchters die geschikt zijn voor bajonetlampen. In wandarmaturen en trappenhuizen van hotels, restaurants en evenementenzalen helpt hij de juiste sfeer te creëren, terwijl de stevige fitting het onderhoud versnelt.
